Conceptually, the main plot is set in modern day (2022) London. The Ghost of Christmas Past is represented by 1970’s disco attire, while the Ghost of Christmas Present is represented by a christmas-style dress reflective of today’s micro-trends. The Ghost of Christmas Future is shown in a subversive basic style; multiple layers with heavy distressing. I wanted to bring Dickens’ classic tale into the modern era, with a focus on the three Christmas ghosts to illustrate the ever-changing fashion world.
